Fruit is good for you!

I just finished this little collection of fruit designs based very loosely on quilted country designs adapted to my own style.  It is now available for licensing.  These designs are very tasty and good for you too!

New Cards at Trader Joe's

The time has come once again for Trader Joe's to introduce their new line of cards.  Starting May first, I will have four new greeting cards in their stores.  The collection will be available until the end of August, then it's a whole new collection.  Best of all, they are priced right at only 99 cents each!  I say, collect them all!

I recently finished these cupcake plate designs and am waiting to hear if they will be licensed onto product.  Keep your fingers crossed!  You know... this post has made me hungry...

Flowers and birds and such

This pattern is a bit older, but it does celebrate spring with all the flowers, birds and insects happily doing their thing.  I hope it looks just like this when you look outside your window today.

It's Vegas Baby!

We just returned from a whirlwind trip to Vegas.  I just love how that city is always in a state of flux.  Every time we visit, there is so much to see that is new.  I am happy to say Las vegas has embraced the modern esthetic of architecture and design which is a great addition to the already eclectic mix.  I enjoyed seeing the Wynn and Encore hotel/casinos for the first time as well as the new M resort on the far southern tip of "the strip" in Henderson.  It is modern and chic which fits so beautifully in the desert surroundings.  I just love how Vegas continues to "one up" itself.  I look forward to our next visit when the enormous City Center project is complete.

It's demolition time!

We are embarking on another fun (and messy) project here.  We are getting a new kitchen!  Woo hoo!!  But before we get the new, out must go the old.  We have a fairly open floor plan on the main level of the house, but right in the middle of it all is (was) a closet refered to as the pantry.  Well, the cabinets have been ordered and the countertops have been selected which means it was time to get the sledge hammer and do some damage.  We will be keeping one post as it is structurally important, but everything else has to go.  We made some good head way this weekend as you can see from the before and after pictures.  There is a long road ahead to kitchen nirvana, but we are on the right path to enlightenment and it feels great!

It's time for more dogs

I always have a lot of extra dog sketches laying around.  This pattern and it's variations were made using some of those sketches.

Bon appetit!

This dinnerware is blooming with soft spring color sprinkled around to make any meal enjoyable.
I designed it last year for a project and hope to find a manufacturer soon.
